RIVAL A/S secures production capacity with a SmartZell T70

There are many different reasons why companies chooses to automate. Therefore, we talked to Christian Aarup, Sales Manager at RIVAL A/S, to hear why they have chosen to automate and how they have experienced the cooperation with QRS.

"The main reason we chose to automate was partly to be free from staffing challenges, but also because our customers are in development, so it creates capacity problems for us to keep up when we have manual staffing on.

At the same time, we see a great advantage in utilizing our employee's skills to set up productions instead of putting parts into a machine. We would rather spend our time making good programs, good setups and stable processes. And it's actually regardless of the size of the serie.

What we think is really great about the collaboration with QRS is their ability to be thorough during project start- up. These are well thought-out solutions that are presented. And not only for sales purposes, the solutions have been verified elsewhere beforehand, so there is more valuein an offer from QRS than from some of our other suppliers.

We also think that the quality of the cells being delivered by QRS is higher. Also when you look finish-wise, the setup itself is just better.

At the same time, we experience if we call Olav with an appeal after the cells have been delivered, then it is very important to him to fix quickly. Nothing is unclear in the cooperation, everything is just straight as an arrow.

We bought another cell a year and a half ago, which is running 24 hours of production. We are also very pleased with this solution, and have subsequently further developed it in collaboration with QRS. We think that's super good, so we're very happy with the collaboration.'
