Peter Knudsen has 10th anniversary in QRS
Peter Knudsen, sales engineer here at QRS, celebrates a 10th anniversary at the age of 24. When he was 14, he was hired to sweep the floor after school. During the school holidays he spent even more time in the company, and helped both the Assembly Department and the Machine Shop with small tasks besides looking after the floor.
When he finished primary school he found his way to Odense Technical High School, where he chose the Technology and Design Line, and in the course, Machine, he became acquainted with the program Inventor.
Our skilled Construction Department uses Inventor on a daily basis, where the robot cells take shape. So when Peter had acquired a taste for the program during his course, it was obvious to learn more about it with the help of colleagues in the Construction Department.
When Peter finished his high school education, he chose to take a gap year, and was well schooled in Inventor by spending many hours behind the screen. He continued during so alongside his diploma as a mechanical engineer, which he started after his gap year.
3.5 years later, Peter had graduated and was officially hired back in February 2020 as Sales Engineer.
Nevertheless, Today Peter has been part of the company for 10 years, so his colleague in the Sales Department showed up early and made sure it got a little extra festive in the office, which you can see in
