One of our customers had a desire to expand an existing robot cell with a unit for quality control of different sizes holes in a part.

We have therefore made this solution for those who are prepared for automation. Initially, however, the station is operated manually by the operator putting a workpiece ready in the fixture and pressing the start.

The QR code on the part is then scanned and information about the part is sent to the cameras.

Then the door closes and the XYZ guide handles the part so that all holes are photographed and aligned with the quality requirement. Finally, the part is placed back in the fixture so that the operator can remove it again, and the HMI screen will show whether the part meets the quality requirement or not.
